News: 2024 Smokin Tabacco x CFCF Fundraiser

Here’s some news from my friends at SmokinTabacco.com, it’s time for their annual Cigar Family Charitable Foundation raffle. Please read on , follow the links, and make a donation. The raffle goes live on Monday, April 24, 2024. This is a great charity and the Tabaccos and their team have helped to raise a lot of money over the past couple years.

It is time once again for the fundraiser many of you have gotten so excited for, the 2024 Smokin Tabacco x CFCF Fundraiser. We are starting a littler later this year due to the timing of the PCA trade show. We felt it would be best to wait until the show was over to promote and run this event. As always, there are amazing prizes up for grabs from Arturo Fuente, J.C. Newman, Tatuaje, Rabbit Air, La Flor Dominicana, S.T. Dupont, Drew Estate and more. The raffle site can be visited here. In 2021, Matthew and Nicole decided they wanted to do something ‘different’ to celebrate their first full year of the Smokin Tabacco Show podcast. Instead of more traditional methods of marking an anniversary, they decided to use their media platform to host a raffle that would benefit a cause they both felt strongly about. While going through many different foundations and causes, they ultimately decided upon hosting a raffle that would benefit The Cigar Family Charitable Foundation. What better way to celebrate being involved in the cigar community than fundraising for a cause that benefits the families and communities of cigar rollers and workers in the Dominican Republic?

In year one in 2021, Smokin Tabacco raised $7,000. In year two, Smokin Tabacco raised $25,500 before Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr. called to say he would match the final total bringing it to $51,000. Last year, Smokin Tabacco exceed the total from 2022 and set a new bar for how far the community can go to raise money for such an amazing cause with a total of $52,840. To date, the Smokin Tabacco CFCF Fundraiser has helped raised over $110,000 for the children who call Bonao home.

In November 2022, Matt and Nicole traveled to the Dominican Republic to visit the Cigar Family campus and met all of the amazing kids, teachers, personnel and even some former students who return to the school to give back. It was a life changing experience and gives you a new sense of how important this organization is once you see how far this money goes.

Over the last three years, all of you have helped us raise over $110,000 overall for the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation. For 2024, the show must go on. News: Smokin Tabacco Cigar Family Charitable Foundation Raffle Begins

Here’s some news from the folks over at Smokin Tabacco. I know I don’t make it a habit of posting news from other media outlets, but this one is a great charity event. Throw a few bucks toward the CFCF, and maybe win some spectacular prizes! It’s a great cause!

Smokin Tabacco is proud to announce the third annual Smokin Tabacco Cigar Family Charitable Foundation fundraiser raffle has officially gone live. You can now purchase your raffle tickets as you wish. More prizes are being added daily, including some unimaginable ones from Arturo Fuente.

In their first two years, Smokin Tabacco has been able to raise a total of $57,000 for the cause that is run and operated by the Newman and Fuente families of J.C. Newman and Arturo Fuente, respectively. This was something that Matt and Nicole first started in 2021 to celebrate the one-year anniversary of their first podcast, The Smokin Tabaco Show. Instead of more traditional methods of marking an anniversary, they decided to use their media platform to host a raffle that would benefit a cause they both felt strongly about. While going through many different foundations and causes, they ultimately decided upon hosting a raffle that would benefit The Cigar Family Charitable Foundation.

In year one the fundraiser finished at $7,000. In year two however, things heated up when nearing the $20,000 line, Carlito Fuente called Matt and Nicole and told them he would personally match the final total bringing the final amount for 2022 to $51,000. The goal for 2022 was $10,000 and was easily exceeded. Now, going into 2023, Smokin Tabacco is proud to announce a third round and hopes to pass the amount raised from the year before.

There are some amazing items being raffled off including items from the OpusX Society, La Flor Dominicana, Tatuaje, Aganorsa Leaf, Drew Estate, Room 101, Red Meat Lovers Club, J.C. Newman, Arturo Fuente, Cigar-Coop, Hiram & Solomon, Rabbit Air, a box of TGS 2021 Opus X from Smoke Inn and more. The fundraiser will run until April 26th at 5PM EST. News: Smokin Tabacco Announces Second CF-CF Fundraiser

I was able to spend a little time with Matt and Nicole at the TPE in Vegas when I was there and they are doing good things. This is one of them! Of course, the CF-CF is a good cause, doing good work in the DR. I was quite amazed one year when my daughter bought me a Toast Across America pack for my birthday because of the charitable aspect. It’s not like her to buy me cigars! One day I hope to get back to the DR and visit the Fuentes, they make some of my favorite cigars, in the meantime, I’ll throw some support to the CF-CF whenever possible.

Smokin Tabacco is proud to officially announce the second Smokin Tabacco Cigar Family Charitable Foundation Fundraiser. Last year, Smokin Tabacco raised $7,000 for CF-CF and presented a check to Cynthia Fuente for the donation in May of last year. This effort was made possible through a raffle system where raffle tickets were sold through SmokinTabacco.com and numbers were emailed out. The raffle was then run and then numbers were pulled live on The Smokin Tabacco Show announcing the winners as well as the final amount raised. The show was The Smokin Tabacco Show’s One Year Anniversary episode and featured guests such as William Cooper, Matt Booth, Cynthia Fuente, Kurt Kendall, Dan Thompson and more with Jon Carney playing host.

For 2022, we have set a goal to beat last year’s amount of $7,000. There will be some similar raffle items and more this year although the final line up could change by the end as many folks add prizes in while the raffle runs over it’s six week period. Additional prizes will be announced as soon as they are available but so far you can win prizes from brands such as Arturo Fuente, Room101, La Flor Dominicana, Micallef, JC Newman, Tatuaje, United Cigars and Drew Estate. The raffle system will be a little different this year and it will be hosted via a third-party raffle system called RallyUp instead of the Smokin Tabacco website. Tickets will be $5 a piece and as always, the more tickets you buy the better your chances are to win. The tickets will go on sale on Monday March 28th at 9 AM and will run until Monday May 9th. The winners will be pulled on a special May 10th live episode of The Smokin Tabacco Show. More information will follow as the fundraiser proceeds.
