CigarCraig’s 12 Spectacular Days of Cigar Giveaways Day 10: Drew Estate

Someone was spreading the word yesterday, because we had quite a few new readers enter.  I love that, and I hope some of you stick around!  Yesterday’s lucky winner of a box of 20 Minutes in Detroit Congress courtesy of NewestCigars.com  is Mike, who says he’s 20 minutes from Detroit!   Please send me your info ASAP so these can make it to your humidor!

It’s Day 10 already and what a special day today is!  Today we have an amazing collection of goodies from the fine folks at Drew Estate. They have really outdone themselves with a nice selection of stuff!  We have a Stinky Ashtray, but not just any old Stinky, a floor stand model! Also, there are three different cool Acid T-shirts (XL), a My Uzi Weighs a Ton Cap, an Undercrown cap and a Drew Estate Cutter (I love these cutters!).  As if that wasn’t enough of a prize for today, there’s a box of Acid Kuba Kuba to ice the cake!  Honestly, this could have been split up over more than one day, but it’s the 12 Spectacular Days of Cigar Giveaways!

Many thanks to John Brooke and everyone at Drew Estate for providing this copious bounty of goodies! Shipping on this one may break me! You know the drill!  Leave a comment to enter and check back tomorrow to see if you won (and enter tomorrow’s contest if you didn’t)!

 Until tomorrow,

CigarCraig

CigarCraig’s 12 Spectacular Days of Cigar Giveaways Day 9: Newest Cigars.com

The winner of the Day 8 prize of a box of the new ORTSAC 1962 San Andreas Robusto (and object of my envy) is Nathan Zimmerman.  Please forward your address ASAP so I can pass it on to Victor at The Cigar Agency so he can ship you your prize (it was best this way, as I may have had a hard time parting with this one! Terrific cigars, I enjoyed the heck out of my last one last night!)

We are at Day 9 of CigarCraig’s 12 Spectacular Days of Cigar Giveaways and by now I’m wishing I had done  CigarCraig’s 8 Incredible Nights of Giveaways!  It’s a good thing I didn’t, because I wouldn’t have been able to bring you today’s prize.  Today we are featuring Newestcigars.com, a new website which will be debuting shortly featuring news about the newest cigars.  The guys there wanted to get in on the fun here and have provided a box of a new cigar from the 20 Minutes Cigar Company based in Detroit called 20 Minutes in Detroit.  This is a 10 count box of  7″ x 56 Corojo wrapped cigars, and if you can smoke one of these in 20 minutes I’ll give you a dollar.  In all seriousness, this a really nice ten count box of the newest cigars out there.

NewestCigars.com is the premium online destination to find out about the newest cigars coming out on the market and is dedicated solely on the emergence of those new brands. It is a platform that provides cigar manufacturers the ability to provide clear, consistent information to cigar retailers, cigar bloggers and cigar aficionados.
Key website features include: easy and advanced searchability, cigar detail pages for every size or brand extention, complete product details, social networking integration to Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, professional photography, cross-brand promotion, geo-location to help find the closest retailer, instant Email and RSS Feed Alerts, and blogger reviews.

CigarCraig’s 12 Spectacular Days of Cigar Giveaways Day 8: The Cigar Agency

Wow, we never had so many entries in a single contest! Watch for some surprises over the next few days, as if every day isn’t a surprise! Once again, I’m grateful for all the sponsors who make it possible for me to play Santa Claus a little bit.  Please visit the links in each day’s posts to learn more about these fine cigars.  The box of Pinolaro cigars from A.J. Fernandez and a 5 pack of cigars from Emilio Cigars goes to DB!  Please forward me your details so we can get this out to you!

I can’t believe it’s Day 8 already!  Today we have one of my favorite new cigars this year, a box of ORTSAC 1962 San Andreas from The Cigar Agency.  This is a terrific smoke with loads of deep, dark flavors that make my palate dance!  The San Andreas wrapper is dark and oily and beautiful.  I will personally be quite jealous of the lucky winner of today’s cigars! This cigar was introduced at the 2012 IPCPR show so it’s brand new.

Thanks go to my good friend Victor Vitale of The Cigar Agency for providing this outstanding item!  Did I mention I love this cigar?  Too bad I’m ineligible!  Leave a comment, win a box of cigars, what could be easier?

Until tomorrow,

CigarCraig

CigarCraig’s 12 Spectacular Days of Cigar Giveaways Day 7: A.J.Fernandez and Emilio

Yesterday we had a box of the Toraño Family Cigars Blends from the Vault. We had a record breaking number of entries for this, which says something for the popularity and quality of Toraño cigars. I’ve always enjoyed them and the people at the company have always been terrific.  Today’s winner is Duane Holmes!  Please forward me your details so we can get this out to you!

Welcome to the second half of this enormous project!  Kicking off the second half of the contests is the newest offering from A. J. Fernandez, the Pinolero.  Pinolero is a word used in Nicaragua for a “local” and this cigar is a Nicaraguan puro wrapped in proprietary Fernandez family leaves.  I’ve smoked a few of these and loved them. While many have said they are powerfully strong, I found it on the high side of medium.  It’s a delicious smoke and a box of these is a wonderful gift!  But, that’s not all!  I also have a five-pack of Emilio Cigars and an Emilio Cap! I see an Emilio AF 1 and 2, an Emilio Suave, what looks like Draig K and perhaps a La Musa, all exceptional cigars.  Emilio is one of the hottest names out there in the boutique cigar world and these cigars are outstanding.  It’s a holiday twofer!

Thanks to Clay and everyone at A.J. Fernandez and Gary and his team  at Emilio for providing the presents for today’s contest!   Leave a comment and check tomorrow to see if you won!

Until tomorrow,

CigarCraig’s 12 Spectacular Days of Cigar Giveaways Day 6: Toraño Family Cigars

Can you believe it’s day 6 already? We’ve already given away 83 cigars and some nice accessories! There are still  plenty of surprises so keep checking back! Yesterday’s feature was a box of Villiger Colorado Double Robusto. I smoked one yesterday my self (again, not from the box, it’s still sealed!) and it was delicious! The lucky winner of this box of cigars is Alessandro D’Agostini!  Please send me your contact information so I can get this box to you.

Today we have an offering from Toraño Family Cigars.  Some lucky reader will be receiving a box of  their Blends from the Vault and a Vault cap.  I’ve long been a fan of the Toraños and their products, and while I haven’t yet personally sampled this one, I have every confidence that it’s an exceptional smoke.

Blends from the Vault originate from a cigar blend book which, since 1982, has recorded every blend the Toraño family has ever worked on. Amongst the blends recorded on the tobacco stained pages of this book are those which were released by the family together with those which were deemed to have tremendous potential but fell short of the family’s high expectations. This book has come to symbolize the Toraño’s blending expertise and creativity and is now securely stored in a safety deposit box in a bank vault. Vault blend A-008 opens instantly to reveal a rich and flavorful base of spice and earth which is quickly rounded and complemented by notes of ripe fruit and anise. Vault is very complex and exhibits a multi-layered taste profile. Wrapper: Shade Grown Nicaraguan Colorado Binder: Ometepe, Nicaragua and Jamastran, Honduras Filler: Esteli and Condega, Nicaragua

The  Toraño Family has always been very generous and this is no exception!  Thanks to Jack Toraño and the gang for offering up this fine selection!  Leave a comment for a chance to win!  I sure love giving away cigars, and the contest just keeps getting better and better!

Until tomorrow,

CigarCraig
